Steve Dylan
Steve Dylan (the artist formerly known as Stephen Patterson), has become a respected and successful comedian, writer and actor since leaving his day job in 2005.
Noted for his insightful material, and signature laid-back style, Steve has headlined coast to coast as a stand-up comedian, was a finalist in the 2008 Great Canadian Laugh Off, appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival in 2009, the Just For Laughs Festival in 2009 and 2010, and had his own national Comedy Now special air in 2011.
Steve got his feet wet as a writer for two seasons on the comedy-game show "You Bet Your Ass" beginning in 2006. In 2008 he won a Canadian Comedy Award as part of the writing staff on "The Jon Dore Television Show", and was nominated for a Gemini for his work on "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" in 2009. He wrote for both "The Canadian Comedy Awards", and HBO's "Funny As Hell" in 2010, and most recently finished writing for Canada's version of the international hit show "Wipeout" and was a contributing writer on "TV with TV's Jonathan Torrens", and CBC's "Mr. D".
Steve is also an accomplished actor whose credits include: "Dan For Mayor", "TV with TV's Jonathan Torrens", "The Jon Dore Television Show", the CBC mini-series "H20" (Paul Gross), MOWS "A Woman Hunted and A Stranger at the Door", the feature film "Decoys", and numerous other commercials, pilots, and independent projects.
